Berlichingen (H0e)

Berlichingen (H0 9mm/H0e)

This layout is made by Hans Louvet. Some invitations for exhibitions entered and we had no layout available. During exhibitions we explained to a lot of people that a large space is not necessarily needed for a lay out. A good choice of theme and it is well possible in a very small space to create convincing scenery. That is what happened with Berlichingen. In only three months time this layout was finished. “Little investment and big effect” is what a German Magazine wrote. Berlichingen was a former quarry on the Jagsttalbahn in Germany. You can see this little (120 x 70 cm) lay out in RAILZ, the museum with a big and beautiful model railway in the centre of Rotterdam.

Special products:

  • Not really most important is that the trains on the layout were standard ROCO H0e locs without any modification. The run (mostly) fine. The rails were from H0e track from Tillig.
