Müsch (H0)

Our first lay out inspired by the English way of building layouts with scratch built rails and points, trees, houses etc. It was inspired by an article of Mr. Jerusalem in Eisenbahn Journal. It represents a small station in Germany (Eiffel) around 1930. Of course the layout had its own lighting and backdrop and a fiddle yard. This layout was specially appreciated by German visitors, who saw a German theme presented “the English way”. The layout was built by Hans Louvet and is several years ago privately sold.

Jerusalem in Eisenbahn Journal.

Special products:

This layout we have used foamboard for the buildings. That was an idea of Mr. Jeruzalem in Eisenbahn Journal. We still use this material as it is light, stable and easy to handle. Available in the local shop for artist’s materials. For the rails we used wooden and partly copper clad sleepers, rails was code 83 from Tillig and rail spikes (fine) were from Micro Engineering.
